St Mary’s School, Waverley hockey achievers making waves
Two first team hockey players from St Mary’s School, Waverley, are making waves on the national front: Kristy Leonard, Grade 12 and the current St Mary’s hockey captain, has been selected as captain of the South African U18 side which will play three tests against Namibia starting on Sunday 10 July in Stellenbosch. Hannah White, Grade 11, has been chosen as a member of the U17 South African High Performance training squad. This squad participated in a training camp in the first week of July.
