Congratulations to Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg Grade 6B’s Eva Levy, Grade 4A’s Daniella Levy as well as Grade 5C’s Barrett Flinner and Safiya Barklem, for their achievements at the Dorfman Karate SA National Children’s Championship.

Eva won Bronze in Kata and Kihon Ippon Kumite in her age category, while her sister Daniella claimed Silver in Kihon Ippon Kumite in her age category. Barrett obtained Gold in Advanced Kata, Gold in Kihon Ippon Kumite and Bronze in Jiyu Ippon Kumite in his category, while Safiya won Gold in Kihon Ippon Kumite, Gold in Intermediate Kata and Bronze in Open Kata. This is an impressive haul of medals, well done.
