A journey from Primary to High School at Curro Serengeti
A journey from primary school to high school ‒ why our learners love their home away from home.
Ntobeko Mbele – head girl of 2022
Ntobeko started her school career at Curro Serengeti in 2011, when the school was still small (only up to Grade 1) and located on the Serengeti Estate. She had the opportunity to serve as deputy head girl at our primary school in 2017.
What does Ntobeko love about Curro Serengeti?
- The teachers who demonstrate passion when teaching their subjects, as well as encouraging their learners to reach their full potentials and believing in them.
- Curro Serengeti is diverse and ever-growing as more opportunities become available to the learners in terms of academics, sport and culture.
- The family values held high by Curro Serengeti really makes the school environment feel like home away from home.
Ntobeko has been maintaining an aggregate of 80% and above for the last four years in her academics and she lives by the following: ‘You will face many defeats in life, but never let yourself be defeated.’ ‒ Maya Angelou
