Proudly Curro Aurora Grade 11 learner Tyrone McCabe recently competed in the South African Provincial Swimming Championships in Hillcrest, Pretoria from 29 March-2 April 2022, where he swam outstandingly winning bronze in the 800m freestyle.
Tyrone, who is a dedicated swimmer, was selected to swim the 4 x 100 medley relay, 4 x 100m freestyle relay, and the 4 x 50m freestyle relay, achieving bronze medals in all, despite the tough competition. He has a promising future ahead in swimming.
