Tip of your Tongue

York High had 28 entries this year for the first round of the Tip of your Tongue Public Speaking Competition. Our learners competed against schools from the Western Cape. The speeches were of a very high quality and we received the following results:

• 13 A++ (90% and higher)
• 14 A+ (85-90%)
• 1 A (80-84%)

The following 9 learners were invited to participate in the National and final round scheduled to take place from 13 to 15 October in Pretoria.
