Francesco Tasso:
What position do you play?
I play hooker. (Number 2)
How was your season this year?
It started off with the North-South tour, which we won 4/4 of the games. Then we came back and started with our full rugby season, which started off with a win. We have won 5 games and lost 2. We still have a few more games after this holiday and looking forward to the Interschools game.
What team has been your biggest opponent thus far?
I will have to say Grey College. I think that my team was not ready to face such a big challenge like Grey at that stage.
What game are you looking forward the most?
Gim, because it’s one of the biggest games. There’s going to be many people there and being in Boys’ High while being u.13A and to beat Gim, is one of the best feelings ever.
What is the best part of playing u.13A rugby?
My teammates and coaches, because my teammates always support each other and we work well together, which I think is a good aspect of my team. My coaches are also a good coaching team, which helps to make us better players and people at the end of the day.
Who is your favourite Springbok rugby player and why?
Eben Etzebeth, because he’s just a monster on the field, he’s fearless, he tackles, he makes hard runs and he’s got good skills to be a leader on the field.
What makes your school special?
Its tradition. It always feels like you belong to a family. The vibe during Interschools, such as sing songs and the big brag is also very special.
Stephan Deyzel:
