Stellenbosch High School cross country highlights
Cay-Leigh Carolissen a Stellenbosch High School learner on her way to winning the Girls U17 4km race at the Schools Cross Country Season at Paul Roos Gymnasium. Cayleigh is one of the young athletes on the AFT Sports Bursary Program at Hoërskool Stellenbosch. She had a phenominal track season, representing Boland at SA Junior Champs and Western Cape at the SA schools champs. She says that Cross country is her favourite discipline and she hopes to get a good placing at Nationals this year.
Our athletes in action at the third Boland Cross Country League. There is an exciting rivalry in the boys under 17 6km event, where Beyon Prins has been the stand out performer, having won 2/3 leagues and Leehanro Arendse right on his heels finishing 1st over the weekend and 2nd and 3rd at the first and second leagues.
