Kira Attfield in Grade 9, has been surfing competitively since she was in Grade 3 and has represented the Ugu District every year since. Kira has managed to maintain the top seed in her age division right from the get go and has achieved District Colours from 2017 through to 2021.

In surfing, no Provincial Colours can be obtained. The Governing Body of surfing, Surfing South Africa, has split the Provinces into 9 competing districts and currently no Provincial Colours are available to be achieved, only District Colours. For the first time this year Kira will be surfing in both the Junior as well as the Senior /Open South African Championships representing the Ugu District.

As well as maintaining a good academic record to date, Kira has also been competing in dancing and has just returned from the South African Freestyle and Disco Championships in Bloemfontein. Creston College are proud of you.
