St Benedict School Gr 10 learner is passionate about karate
Jessica Geyser is a Grade 10 pupil at St Benedict School in Pinetown and is passionate about karate. She recently received silver medals for both Kata and Kumata and this has qualified her to participate in the South African JKA Championships which will take place on 20 and 21 May. Jessica started doing karate while living in Dundee in 2016. When the family moved to Durban in 2019 she then started training with JKA Dojo in Pinetown. Jessica received KZN and SA colours for karate in 2017, 2018 and now again in 2022. (No championships were held from 2019 – 2021 due to COVID).
