The inaugural Lonsdale Soccer Tournament took place on 26 and 27 June and was hosted by Al Falaah College. The event featured 17 different clubs and schools, and was open to players from Under 6 to Under 17 years’ divisions. The Sports Director at Al Falaah College, Mr Shaheen Mahomed commented on the event: “It was a great pleasure to host this tournament at our school. We had a great turnout with teams from our local community and all the way from Gauteng. We’re thrilled that we were able to provide this opportunity for the kids and we’re already looking forward to another one next year. A special shout-out must go out to the team for putting this event together; and to Lonsdale and Xquisite Cars for their amazing commitment to the event.”
