The Drakensberg Boys Choir School celebrated Mandela Day
The Drakensberg Boys Choir School put out a challenge to all parents, pupils, staff, friends, old boys and the wider Champagne Valley community to make a difference. In the spirit of Nelson Mandela Day 2022 they were urged to “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” To this end, a local place of safety in the Winterton surrounds was identified. Since food security and climate change is the theme of Mandela Day this year, non-perishable groceries and fresh veggies were collected and handed over to the staff at Isiphephelo Place of Safety on Tuesday, 26 July. The Drakensberg Boys Choir School would like to thank everyone for their generous contributions.
