St Dominics Newcastle Saving lives at the start of a new term
Staff and learners of St Dominics Newcastle believes there is no better way to start off the new term than saving lives – and they did just that. The Blood Peer Promoters took it upon themselves to encourage bleeds and support donors during the visit by the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) visit to the school on 20 July.
The group, which includes Blood Peer Leaders Sarah Baney, Mvelo Mashinini, Dia Singh, Ciana Captain, Husna Jeebhai, Esethu Vilakazi and Thaba-jan Ntjobokoane, offered SANBS and all donors a helping hand. We are proud to announce that we donated 27 bleeds and are looking forward to the next blood drive!

Blood Peer Promoter, Dia Singh encourages the school’s Director of Sport, Raymod van Niekerk to donate blood.

Aphile Mazibuko is ready to donate.

Siphepelo Mabona and Thumelo Madonsela support the SANBS blood drive.

Esethu Vilakazi does his part to save a life.
