Glenashley Prep joined forces in their pledge to support Bread Tags for Wheelchairs
Glenashley Preparatory School and La Lucia Junior Primary School have joined forces in their pledge to support Bread Tags for Wheelchairs, and are hoping their combined efforts in collecting bread tags will expedite the acquisition of a wheelchair for someone in need. Both schools have been collecting bread tags for several years, to support Bread Tags for Wheelchairs, and to make a difference in their environment, as the bread tags are recycled and therefore do not end up in landfill sites.
Glenashley Preparatory and La Lucia Junior Primary urge their learners and their families and friends to keep collecting bread tags. A bread packet holds 1 kg of bread tags, and it takes 200 kg of bread tags to raise enough money through recycling to buy one wheelchair.

Glenashley Prep were uplifting bread tags, are Grade 1 learner Lianie du Toit, Principal Glenashley Prep Naaim Jaffar, Grade 1 learner Charlene Musarakufa and Macallen Naidoo and Principal La Lucia Junior Primary Jen Harman.
