The Winelands Primary School Earth Club hosted a gardening week
The Winelands Primary School Earth Club hosted a gardening week during which learners planted “spekboompies” in empty milk cartons. They are going to take care of the plants at home and replant it at school at the end of the year. The “spekboom” is a very special plant since it helps to fight climate change; it is easy to grow; it’s water-wise; it is high in vitamin C and it can live up to 200 years!
